These earrings are an artistic interpretation of Saturn and its rings. Beautiful handmade satin smooth matte beads are banded by pure silver and teamed with handmade sterling silver hammered rings. Saturn is the sixth planet from the Sun and is a gas giant, made mostly of hydrogen and helium with a possible solid core. Saturn's pale yellow colouration is due to ammonia crystals in its upper atmosphere. The rings that encircle the planet are made up of ice crystals, rocky debris and dust. It is named after the Roman god of agriculture.
